SWEET ADDIE STILL LOOKING FOR A HOME!
Addie arrived to the shelter on December 3rd. She has lived in a small confined space for more than 7 months. She is 1 year and 7 months old and she is a terrier mix. She came to us as a stray.
Addie is our # 1 greeter at the shelter. Her whole body wiggles with joy with every person she encounters. She loves people and she has no shame in showing it!
She loves a good hearty leashed walk.
Her favorite part of the day is hanging with Ms. Doris in the quiet and cool front office after hours 4-5 days a week. She and Doris are close friends and the soothing conversation is important to Addie. Especially after hours upon hours all alone in a kennel. Having a friend to talk to is important, and we all know that.
Addie needs more exercise than is feasible at the shelter. She will need a fenced in yard so she can do her zoomies – like all young dogs like to do. She is a huge fan of playing fetch and will play till you tucker out!
Her play style is a little rambunctious at times ( most likely because she doesn’t get enough exercise and stimulation), so we are suggesting no small children 12 and up would be a perfect scenario.
She is very affectionate and a quick learner. She is aching for more for time with humans.
Addie will quickly learn from her humans how to be an even better girl than she already is. She is eager to please.
She can be selective about her canine friends. A perfect scenario would be having her be a one and only – and she will give you more than enough love!
Addie’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Humphreys County Humane Society.
She is spayed and up to date on preventatives.
All she needs is a home and family.
