Buster – our AWESOME senior – is still holding out for his forever home. He loves his foster mom, but he knows she can’t keep him forever.
Buster is a 55 lb Labrador Retriever mix. We estimate him to be 8 years old. He is neutered and up to date on preventatives.
His foster mom says he is the best boy ever and the best dog she has ever fostered. So easy!
He is completely house trained.
Crate trained, but no need for it as he never gets in anything.
Great on a leash
He has met 2 cats and was not interested and non reactive.
He is a quiet fellow and not a barker.
His foster mom did say that on occasion he gets a burst of puppy energy and wants to do the zoomies. But, for the most part chilling is his favorite pastime.
He can jump a fence – which is quite a feat for a senior. His foster home doesn’t have a fence and she takes home out 4 xs a day on a leash and he is fine – no accidents at all. We did uncover that he would not jump the fence if he had a human friend out there with him.
Buster wants interested families to know that they will need to coordinate a meet and greet with staff or volunteers as he got lucky and has a wonderful foster home.
