Daisy says hello from her foster home. She is loving family life.
Daisy arrive in mid December as a stray. She wailed for the first few weeks and we thought that her family would come get her. But no one arrived.
She struggled at the shelter – immensely. She loves being with humans.
Daisy is about 2 years old and she weighs 48 lbs. She is a terrier mix. She is spayed and up to date on preventatives.
The foster family says this:
House trained
Crate trained. she sleeps in her crate at night and stays in it when the family is not at home.
She never gets into anything – she chews her bones and toys only.
Loves a leashed walk
She loves walking and playing in the creek.
She loves being outside and wants to help you with planting by digging your holes for you.
She is becoming a good listener
She loves being a couch potato with you.
And, she is scared of thunderstorms and heavy rain storms.
Daisy has had two interactions with cats and done well.
We are still working to uncover if she is good with other dogs- but we think she would thrive as a one and only as she has a lot of love to share.
Daisy’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Humphreys County Humane Society. She had time with a trainer and her foster family would love to share what they learned.
She is all ready for a home.
